As I walk down the lonley driveway to the car, i feel the weight of the heavy sky bare down on me, dragging me down.
This journey is one i dont want to take but never the less i carry on and do it every five days a week.
The car rattles its way along the road; fog, rain and hail block my vision of what faces me ahead. But we keep going...

Florida Travel Analysis
Different types of texts need and use different feutures of language and layout to suit the specific purpose, form and audience of the piece.
In class we were looking at a travel guide for people going too and in Florida.
Travel guides use certain fetures and types of language to help people traveling and make the brochure easier to understand such as:
The Directory of numbers in the corner of the page
Putting the directory in the corner of the page seperates the useful and important numbers from the rest of the text so you dont have to search for them within the rest of the writing.
The purpose of seperating this from the rest of the text is so people dont have to search for ages to find things they need in a hurry.
This is typical in a travel guide book just for a conveniance matter.
Hyperboles
In the first introductory paragraph to the guide the writer has used hyperbole such as "THE ULTIMATE FAMILY HOLIDAY". By using this statement its bringing it across to the reader that this is fact insted of opinion making it more likely they are going to pick this holiday destination insted of any other.
Pictures and Diagrams
In the travel guide on the section which is talking about TRAVELERS WITH DISABILITIES they use the globaly known wheelchair image so that anyone looking for this section can instantly see the logo and know this is the section they need, this is done for a quick check and finding the correct infomation easily without reading through all the guide.
